Day 54-57/365

I'm trying to work more with character interaction/dynamics. So expect to see a lot more coupley type pics in the future.

Day 54->: I first started Jason...then I added Eliot and his vanishing arms.


<-Day 55: This WILL be finished. Like I said, character interaction. Liana is jumping on Jason's back. I love this!!!

Day 56->: SashaxAlex here. Hehe. I'm not planning on coloring this one like I am with the JasonxLiana one. I find too many things wrong with it. I'm not saying I don't like it or that I'm not proud of myself, because I am. I just think I could justify them just a tad bit better. Alex's hands took me at least an hour to do. I kept erasing and redrawing. The poor people who were watching me on livestream were probably bored out of their minds. Hahaha.

Day 49-53/365

<-Day 49: Guh. So crappy. I don't want to talk about it.

Day 50->: Hahaha. I was on livestream and Andrea told me to draw Max. I've been wanting to do Tangled fanarts anyway, so here's an unamused Max.

Day 51 ->: I was really just experimenting with my watercolors. I wanted to get better at horses, pegasi, and wings. Thanks, Blaze for letting me butcher you a few times! (btw, I accidentally labeled this the 21st but the date on the pic is the 20th)



Day 52->: More Alexis. Just tryin' to figure her out a bit more. I really like her so far.

inspiration

So I did these Senshi sketches almost 2 years ago because Sailor Moon was my biggest inspiration to start drawing in the anime/manga style and I wanted to make a tribute to them. Unfortunately, I only finished one. Sailor Mercury. I'm posting them now so at least there sort of seen ^^ I did finish all the sketches at least!

Day 40-48/365

Day 40 ->: Crappy pen sketch. I was busy packing to go to WI so I just did something utterly disproportional.



<-Day 41 & 42: Sorry, sketch page. I'm trying the skeleton way to go to see if it makes my work a bit more proportional. Eliot and Greta, Jason and his long hair, a perspective Chase (perspective is one of those things that I have to get better at too) and Kera as day 42. I like how Kera turned out.


Day 43->: Monica, Andrea, and I had gone for a drive, so this was the product after I got home. I'm so lame.

<-Day 44: Sketch for a Secret Admirer for a club I'm in on dA. Here's the finished piece.



Day 45 ->: New char concept sketches. Trying to figure out Nicholai's hair still. I'm pretty pleased with Alexis, I still may tweak her a bit.

<- Day 46 & 47: Another sketchpage. I drew a crabby Kera, so I decided to draw Sasha. And since I drew Sasha I had to draw Alex. Then by that time I figured I'd draw Milo too, but it was the next day ^^ They're supposed to be from book II, which is why Kera's hair is longer and the red is grown out and Alex's hair is shorter and he's wearing Sasha's necklace.


Day 48 ->: Alright. Another concept of Nicholai. I actually really like his hair here. I wanted it to be interesting, yet easy for me to do (I tend to draw the same hairstyle for boys...boo) For some reason I picture him with longer hair in the front, shorter in the back. I dunno why, I just do. Anyway, I think I'll keep this hairstyle for him.

36-39/365

<-Day 36: random unfinishedness. Day 37 ->: Pre haircut Book 2 Alex. He's wearin' Sasha's necklace cuz she gave it to him :] Again, it was supposed to be a concept of a new char, but Nicholai does not seem to want to be drawn. Boo to you, Nich.








<-Day 38: To quote Andrea: "Mad Summer is Mad". You can see the finished version here. Again, working with skeleton's first. So far so good. I'll probably get annoyed with them soon.

Day 39 ->: Twas my good friend's birthday so I decided to draw his char Allison. I don't know why her skin is yellow...regardless, I very much enjoy this quick colored sketcher.


Now I'm off to Wisconsin in the morning. Sketches will be posted sometime next week~wish me luck.

32 extra -35/365

I have to say I've had some pretty decent sketches lately. I'm diggin' the art life right now, yo.

Day 32 extra: Omg! Usagi Greta for the Chinese New Year~I drew this for my journal header on dA, but I also did a finished picture found here.





<-Day 33: Serious Eliot. Originally it was supposed to be a concept sketch for a new char, buuuut it turned into Eliot. Poor boy has been holding this expression the last couple days. I feel so bad for him.




Day 34: ->I spent a long time doing nothing that night. So I made a list of shiz to do within my sketch. Haha.



<-Day 35: Milo looking a bit effeminate. Sorry dude. Trying out a new way of sketching by starting with skeletons. We'll see how that works out...


I'll update the rest tomorrow because I'm reallllyyyy tired. I have through 39 done ^^

25-32/365+extra!

Day 25-->: Just a tiny pen sketch. I really think I've hit a bit of artblock, though. Booooooo.



<--Day 26: I'm reading a book called Pegasus and from the description of the Pegasi, this is the image I got. Man, wings are hard. I paid special attention to them though so I could get better~also, I think his legs should be skinnier (from the description, at least). :] Oh well, I'm proud of the wings! ^^

Day 27-->: New char concept. Like I need anymore, right? His name will be Nicholai and this is most definitely not his final design.


Day 28-->: I really felt like I wasn't drawing anything productive the last few days, so it's attack of the block, man.




<--Day 29: Drunken Liana. This totally happened in the story, btw.


Day 30-->: Sasha is stretching before a spar maybe?





<--Day 31: My good friend Kiddo asked for a Summer, so here she is! My sad attempt at perspective u_u;;


Day 32-->: Really, really bad attempt at a self portrait. Eyebrows much? Christ. I like the nose, though ^^





AND THE EXTRA:

I finished Day 21's sketch :]] It's Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter holding a rabbit. I figured since most of 2011 is the Year of the Rabbit and her patronus is a Rabbit, it fits. I plan on markering the heck out of this sometime soon <3 I love the fluffy little bunny! And I think I got the spacy Luna gaze down pretty well ^^
